A.J. Johnson started running when he was 6 years old. Growing up he played all types of sports, from your standard soccer and baseball, to B.M.X. at a national level, and tennis at the college level. He never stopped running and eventually got into triathlon. After 10 years in triathlon, 2 of them at the professional level, he “retired” from racing and now gets outside for fun. He enjoys all variations of skiing, cycling, and running and is up for just about anything outdoors. He still enjoys competing in endurance events and has started the Endure Tour as a way to race and raise funds for the Foundation Fighting Blindness. Conrad is a fairly new Ironman triathlete, who loves the outdoors. He travels a lot for work and enjoys the challenge of finding a way to train while on the road. Since he is fortunate to visit so many new places he enjoys taking a lot of pictures, especially of the places where he is swimming, biking, running (mostly of himself). Dan is a life-long runner and outdoor enthusiast, who grew up hiking, camping, and skiing in the northeast. Dan was a competitive runner through college, where he participated as a decathlete. I am an active guy who has lived and traveled all over the globe. Things I do or have done that keep me alive include:
Ultra Marathons, snowboarding, mountain biking, international nonprofit work, bungee jumping, sky diving, rock climbing, and my love for my dogs and family. I drink craft beer, eat well, exercise, and love my God.
I was raised in Ohio but have lived in Nevada for 10 years and appreciate all the West has to offer. As I close in on the big 50, I have a passion to be active and healthy to live a long life for my family. I love the outdoors and I haven't found a sport I didn't like. I have logged 15 years of cycling and a few years of racing, 10 years of running, full body fitness with Beachbody, hunting, fishing , camping and hiking. I just competed in my first Spartan Race and there will be many of these to come. I beleive that if you have the best gear on the market and are well prepared, athletics and adventures are that much more enjoyable.

Evan moved to Colorado in 1998 specifically to mountain bike and snowboard. Sure, he may have told his parents the move was "for school", but after getting that distraction out of the way he started enthusiastically exploring Colorado. His focus in the summer is riding mountain bikes across a variety of disciplines from cross country and trail riding, to downhill and Enduro, dual slalom, dirtjumping, and even a little racing here and there. Evan fills winter primarily with skiing, having switched from snowboarding in 2009, and puts in nearly 50 days on snow each season with a mix of resort and backcountry days. In between skiing or biking Evan can found hiking, camping, backpacking, road cycling, sampling or brewing tasty craft beer, working on a 1970 VW desert race car, cooking at home with his girlfriend, and occasionally utilizing that pesky college degree as a freelance graphic and web designer.
Playing outside is where I'm most alive and free. Although I spend most of my time running in the Colorado Rockies, I also like to slow things down and enjoy the outdoors by hiking and camping. I've been competing in the running arena since high school, and am experienced all types of the distances and terrains. My current passion is for ultra mountain running.

After moving west from Chicago in 2005 in search of mountains to ski on, the Colorado lifestyle really took hold. Before long my passions turned to running, cycling, triathlon, and endurance sports in general. Colorado is such a great place to train and live that I have never looked back.

Karl spends his time designing web and marketing solutions in the digital space to connect and drive passion among outdoor, adventure loving peeps. He rolls with an awesome dog, and friends who push things. Bombing down is more fun than grinding up; both have their lessons. Content and Content are not the same, but go hand-in-hand, even as the emphasis falls unique to each. Fun things are better than the alternative, even when it's hard. Go find him there.

She is passionate about helping others by simplifying complex information.
Mo loves to mountain bike race and run in the Rocky Mountain summer, and gets out on her backcountry skis, snowboard and snowshoes during the winter. After some 20 years on both coasts and a stint in Spain, now she could not be extracted from her home state of Colorado with a crowbar. After years of triathlon, culminating in a couple Ironman Canada finishes, she's come to prefer single-sports events, including the Boston marathon and other urban sufferfests. An accomplished camper, she is feared for her 100% true ghost stories told around campfires ("and it happened right around here, I swear").

Noah is a very happy guy. This is because he loves the outdoors and spends LOTS of time in it. He grew up in New England snowboarding, mountain biking and camping when he was young. In 2012 he followed his love of the mountains to Utah and now lives in the foot hills of the Wasatch Range. If there is snow, he is skiing/riding at Snowbird or out backcountry touring. When the powder melts, he is a competitive mountain biker (with a recent 2nd place finish at the grand traverse teamed up with another of our reviewers), avid road biker, and fills the rest of his time hiking or trail running. His 1.5 year old daughter, wife and 2 dogs are his trail companions.

Stephanie grew up moving constantly whether in gymnastics or running around on the family farm in New York. Nowadays, she has melded her energy and passion for the outdoors into a career in the ski industry and a continual quest to spend as much time outside enjoying everything that Colorado has to offer. In between skiing each of Colorado's 26 ski areas in one season, she can be found in the Front Range pounding the pavement marathon training or enjoying the abundant singletrack on her mountain bike or her own two feet. Stephanie also enjoys cooking to fuel for her activities, traveling, good beer, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
I'm a New York transplant, now a Colorado resident for over 6 years and living in the Vail Valley; life isn't too shabby with rivers in my backyard bursting with trout, winter steeps that balance the resort access, and high-alpines huts to escape to on the weekends. While tackling marketing efforts behind a desk on a typical weekday, once the hand strikes 5PM I'm out on the river casting my 5wt landing trout (brookies, cut-throats, or rainbows) or exploring the trails between Vail Pass and Eagle on my bike. Sometimes the weekend offers the opportunity for a new adventure, cruising as far as Moab to ride the Whole Enchilada or backpacking to Vestal Peak.
