Isis Whisper Hoodie Review

WhisperHoodie2 Isis Whisper Hoodie Review

The Isis Whisper Hoodie is a 650 fill down jacket that has an excellent warmth to weight ratio. The Whisper Hoodie has a DWR finish to help repel snowflakes while on the trail or worn around town. The Whisper Hoodie comes with its own stuff sack for easy packing for winter treks. Tester’s liked the feminine accents, such as the patterned lining and wide array of color choices. We also liked the size options, ranging from size 2-16, allowing for a more custom fit. The Whisper Hoodie is not simply a men’s jacket made smaller, and offers a longer back length, making it less boxy than some of its competitors. The fleece chin guard is a nice touch, as well as the internal security pocket. So far this season, the Whisper Hoodie has been a great jacket for walking the dogs on cold evenings or as an extra layer around the campsite, especially thanks to the added warmth that the hood provides. About the Author

Shannon, our fabulous female tester, takes gear testing to a new level for women. When not at work or school, she is most likely training for a marathon, climbing one of Colorado’s tallest peaks, riding her road bike, or skiing down a mountain slope. Like many women, Shannon gets cold easily, therefore, we try to test the best all weather gear to help her stay warm and dry during all day outdoor pursuits. In the warmer months, Shannon enjoys exploring the Colorado backcountry with her friends and dogs and attempts to escape for as many trail runs as her schedule allows. Shannon is a great women’s tester because she gives readers true insight into how a product may perform for an active woman.
