Obermeyer Progress Jacket Review

We’ve been testing out the Obermeyer Progress Jacket over the past few cold winter months and are very impressed with this jacket. The Progress Jacket is longer than most jackets on the market, giving you complete coverage weather your trying to stay warm and snow free on the slopes our out running winter errands. The Progress is made of a 100% durable nylon that is super durable while providing wind and water resistance. Large under arm zips help to keep you well ventilated, preventing too much sweat from building up on the inside. When it comes to the jackets features, the list goes on and on. Some of the features we feel are worth mentioning include; fleece lined cuffs, powder skirt to keep snow out, ski pass D-ring, removable hood, google cloth, and a fleece chin guard to keep your chin from getting rubbed raw. The Obermeyer Progress has plenty of pockets whether you’re looking to stash your goggles, water bottle, MP3 player, or energy bars to keep you going on the slopes. The Progress retails for $225 which we find is a good deal for a winter ski jacket that will last for many years to come. Some will find this jacket to be a little too big for their fashion preferences, but many of our testers liked the look and performance of the Obermeyer Progress. With that said, we give the Obermeyery two thumbs up for it’s price, performance, and style. For more information, please visit Obermeyer.com
