Review: Saucony ProGrid Guide TR2

The Saucony ProGrid Guide TR2 is a trail shoe perfect for those looking for a blend of trail and road running. We found this shoe to be extremely cushioning for a trail running shoe as it has Saucony’s SRC impact zone that adds extra cushion in the heal to absorb heal strikes for both flat surfaces and descents. The upper is extremely cushioning as it comes with Saucony’s foam cell sock liner. One of the downfalls to the shoe is that it does not have the best traction in wet conditions. If you are just running on fire roads, it’s not a problem, but if you are in rocky conditions, this could be a problem. Our testers liked the looks of the Saucony ProGrid Guide TR2 as it gives a little flair to their outfits. The shoe tends to dry out pretty fast as we tested it in the rain while hiking and trail running and after the rain stopped, the shoes dried out in about an hour. We recommend this shoe for those looking for a very cushioned ride and those looking to get a mix of trail and road while out running. For more information, please visit Saucony.com

I used to have a pair of Saucony “Jazz” and they were great all around shoes. Do they still make them? I haven’t found them in local stores.
Thanks,
