New Balance Nbx Component Jacket Review

Component Jacket.jpg 300x300 New Balance Nbx Component Jacket ReviewThe New Balance Nbx Component Jacket has gotten a lot of attention during product testing. People come up to us and ask if this is a see through jacket; indeed, the Component is a transulescent jacket with white trim at the sealed seams.  The jacket is not only getting attention, but also helps us remain visible at all times thanks to its light color and 360 degree reflectivity. This featherweight jacket has been worn on 30 degree to 50 degree days, when a long sleeve is not quite enough protection. We found this jacket to be water and wind resistant; the jacket is also seam sealed which further aids its’ weather protection ability. We loved the warmth to weight ratio that this jacket provided; the extra light layer helped keep the warmth that our body created while running within the jacket. There is a back yoke to help prevent overheating and the jacket also incorporates X-static fibers to provider heat regulation and prevent odor build up. Other features of the Component jacket worth mentioning include: an internal media pocket, two hip pockets with zippers, and a small wrist pocket. We liked the easy to pull waist cinch pulls and the extra long arms that allow complete arm range of motion. The NB website states the jacket is semi-fitted, we found it to be more of a relaxed fit when wearing our normal size, we recommend sizing down. The Component Jacket by New Balance is something unique to add to your spring running collection. For more information, please visit NewBalance.com
