GoLite Tilly Jane Run Skirt Review

Running skirts have clearly gained a place in the road running world, as many of you may have noticed at the local road races. Skirts are now visible out on the trail, thanks to companies like GoLite. The Tilly Jane Run Skirt by GoLite, is a no frills skirt that is ready for the trails. The outer layer of the skirt is made of recycled polyester and elastic, which allows the skirt to really move with you as you run, while also feeling extremely soft against your skin. The skirt has a comfy wide waistband that stays put on your hips and is also a fun accent color. We measured the total length of the skirt (waistband to the seam at the thigh) and it was around 12 inches; when worn, the skirt feels similar to a 3” split short, as far as coverage goes. We liked the idea of a boy short underneath to keep us covered, but found that the leg openings did not half a stretchy material in them, resulting in them slipping around and moving up on the leg. For individuals with larger quads, these boy shorts may be a bit tight too because of the lack of elastic. The liner itself is super soft and made from Cocona Minerale fabric, which dries fast and moves moisture away from the skin. We also liked the zipper storage that sits on your rear and not in the way of your stride. Despite our one complaint, we still recommend this skirt to women that are seeking a skirt that blends in with the crowd, while also making them feel feminine at the same time.
