Brooks Glycerin Short Review

220262001 300x300 Brooks Glycerin Short Review

Brooks describes the Glycerin Short as a running short camouflaged as a hip fashion short, and we couldn’t agree more.  The Glycerin has a flat-wide waistband that fits comfortably over your hips and stays put while on the move thanks to spandex fabric.  The shorts have a no-nonsense cut and features 2-concealed pockets that help maintain the fashion short appearance.  The front key pocket is concealed within the inner liner, while the rear envelope style pocket is part of the waistband and can easily house an energy gel or your mp3 player.  The Glycerin short has a 3.5” inseam, which we loved, not too short or too long.  Testers liked the liners that felt more like boy shorts than the standard brief liners and testers were chafe free with these shorts. The liner was also very breathable and did not ride up or dig into your thighs.  Look for the new Glycerin shorts from Brooks this spring, in two-tone purple and blue.  They are guaranteed to be a quick favorite.  For more information, please visit Brooksrunning.com

About the Author

Shannon, our fabulous female tester, takes gear testing to a new level for women. When not at work or school, she is most likely training for a marathon, climbing one of Colorado’s tallest peaks, riding her road bike, or skiing down a mountain slope. Like many women, Shannon gets cold easily, therefore, we try to test the best all weather gear to help her stay warm and dry during all day outdoor pursuits. In the warmer months, Shannon enjoys exploring the Colorado backcountry with her friends and dogs and attempts to escape for as many trail runs as her schedule allows. Shannon is a great women’s tester because she gives readers true insight into how a product may perform for an active woman.
