K-Swiss K-Ona Review

The K Ona is sure proof that K-Swiss made a great decision by entering the running shoe arena. This ultra-light (9 oz.), stable running shoe is perfect for training, road races and triathlons and provides a surprising amount of cushioning. Testers boasted of this shoe’s comfort on runs ranging from easy 3-milers up to 10 milers over a hilly course.
K-Swiss clearly did their homework by integrating sophisticated technologies such as an Aosta II rubber outsole to maximize durability; Superfoam technology, an Si-18 technology crash pad and a k-EVA midsole all combine to optimize cushioning; and the seamless upper construction strongly maximizes comfort. And on a hot summer day perhaps one of the best features of this shoe is its Flow Cool System, which provides incredible breathability and moisture wicking. I’ve looked up to K-Swiss for a long while. A few months ago I think that as a company it had suffered. For a while the company’s design was not what it used to be and in my experience, the standard of the goods went south. HOWEVER, today I feel K-Swiss are tops even though they are not the cheapest trainers.
