Brooks Ghost 3 Review

Brooks Ghost 3 300x238 Brooks Ghost 3 Review

Coming somewhere in the middle of your typical neutral and lightweight trainer is the Brooks Ghost 3. This shoe is a little lighter than most neutral running shoes, while coming in a little heavier with more cushion and mild stability than most lightweight trainers. Brooks has been introducing its Bio MoGo slowly throughout its line and this is the Ghost’s turn. With Brooks Bio MoGo, you don’t sacrifice performance, but you do help in reducing the size of our landfills over time as the midsole will breakdown much faster than normal running shoes. While some of our testers found this shoe to be a little heavy for their faster training runs, many other runners thought the shoe was just right. The Ghost 3 has an airy breathable mesh upper to keep your feet from overheating. To give runners a very small amount of stability, the Ghost 3 has Brooks DRB Accel™ in the midfoot to allow for a little extra cushioning in high strike areas. To keep your strike points comfortable, the Ghost 3 comes with Brooks HydroFlow™ in the heel and forefoot allowing impact absorption to be spread a little more evenly. Overall, the Brooks Ghost 3 was the favorite among testers and we highly suggest taking a serious look at these shoes the next time you purchase a pair of running shoes.

I’ve been a Brooks fan for years. They always put out a good product and I suspect the Ghost 3 is no different.
