Amphipod Handheld Review

As every trail runner knows, all belt style hydration systems have one thing in common: the bounce. With the amphipod handheld, you are guaranteed to eliminate that annoying feeling of sloshing water and aggravated hip chafage. Amphipod has long been known as a staple of the hydration industry, and this latest update to line does not dissapoint. It may seem small, but it’s packed with quite a few features that are definitely welcome additions. First and foremost, the expandable pouch on the back has enough room for keys and a gel pack, or a slim cell phone. The back side of the pouch is coated with an ultra soft liner that prevents any rub on the back of your hand – even in the longest of races. Amphipod’s unique bottle design is ergonimically oriented to fit the palm of your hand. For medium to large hands, it was a perfect fit; much more so than round bottles tend to.
