prAna Women’s Pant Review

This spring, prAna continues to bring out functional casual and active pieces to match your needs in your busy and active lives. Here are a few of our favorites.

W4OLIV110 ZINC 300x300 prAna Womens Pant Review

The Olivia Pant is a super comfortable pant to wear out on a short hike with the dogs or around town while doing errands. The Olivia is made from primarily cotton with a tad of spandex to provide a comfortable and soft fabric. These pants have a wide-straight leg with front and back patch pockets. Our tester is 5’9” and typically wears a size 4, these pants run a bit loose and were perfect length when worn with clogs or flip-flops. We tested out the pants out in Zinc (light gray), and noticed that pet fur clings to these pants more than your average khaki. With that said, we still feel that these pants were incredibly comfortable and recommend them in perhaps a darker-earth tone.

W4BAJC110 ESPRESSO 300x300 prAna Womens Pant Review

The Baja Capri is a slight variation of prAna’s beloved Baja Knicker. The Baja Capri hits at the lower shin and gives a bit more leg coverage when temps aren’t so balmy. The Capri is made from a combination of recycled polyester and spandex to provide a form-fitting pant that movew with you. We liked the added detail of the dual color waist band and the lining in the crotch, which is sometimes overlooked by manufacturers. We wore the Baja Capri not only to yoga, but running with the dogs, and around town. We liked the espresso color and rejoiced at not wearing yet another pair of black pants! About the Author

Shannon, our fabulous female tester, takes gear testing to a new level for women. When not at work or school, she is most likely training for a marathon, climbing one of Colorado’s tallest peaks, riding her road bike, or skiing down a mountain slope. Like many women, Shannon gets cold easily, therefore, we try to test the best all weather gear to help her stay warm and dry during all day outdoor pursuits. In the warmer months, Shannon enjoys exploring the Colorado backcountry with her friends and dogs and attempts to escape for as many trail runs as her schedule allows. Shannon is a great women’s tester because she gives readers true insight into how a product may perform for an active woman.
