prAna Crinum Jean Review
Finding a good pair of jeans that fit well and don’t cost $150 is not always the easiest task. Add finding a pair of jeans that perform on a technical level for us outdoorsy types, and it’s darn near impossible. Last year I tested out the prAna Axiom Jeans and absolutely loved the fit, look, and performance. When I saw that prAna came out with the Crinum jeans, I had to test them.
As someone who is constantly hiking, camping, traveling, and living the busy life as most people, I find it important to find gear that fits with my lifestyle, even jeans. The prAna Crinum jean is made with a Coolmax fabric, allowing moisture to transfer from the skin to the jeans, and then evaporate. There aren’t many things that I enjoy less than gear that doesn’t keep me dry. Maybe running into a mountain lion while hiking would beat that… Another feature that I really like in the Crinum jeans is the gusseted crotch. As my legs are bending this way and that while hiking, bouldering, and doing jumping jacks, the gusseted crotch rocks!
As for the style of the jeans, I have received a number of compliments on these jeans. I feel comfortable wearing the Crinum Jeans to a nice restaurant, but they aren’t too dressy to wear to a friends backyard bbq. The Crinum jeans have a regular fit and seem to fit well with most shoes and shirts. Overall, I have found the prAna Crinum Jeans to be a great addition to my casual/active lifestyle.
