Patagonia Retro Grade Pant Review

Patagonia Retro Grade Pants 300x300 Patagonia Retro Grade Pant ReviewLooking for a new pair of pants that not only gives you that outdoor look, but also perform to your outdoor lifestyle standards?  I’ve been testing out the Patagonia Retro Grade Pant for the past few months and have been super happy with them so far.  I’ve used them for traveling, camping, hiking, and general around the town activities, and they seem to do the trick for it all.  One of the things that I liked about the Retro Grade pants is that they are fairly lightweight, so they pack down pretty small and don’t load down your luggage.  They are meant more for the casual or sport lifestyle as they have a draw string, and draw strings aren’t in at most office yet.  I am not a big fan of having a draw string on a pair of pants, but I did enjoy the draw string when I forgot my belt on a few trips.

As for us sporty types, the Retro Grade Pants have a gusseted crotch that allows you to a great range of motion for activities such as climbing, bouldering, hiking, etc.  With a blend of 98% organic cotton and 2% spandex, the pants stretch a tiny bit when you need to push the pants to their limits.  If you need to stash a phone, small camera, cash, without having to worry about it falling out of your pocket, there is a zippered pocket on the side of the pant leg.

Overall, we’ve been very pleased with the fit, style, and performance of the Patagonia Retro Grade Pants and highly recommend them to our friends, family, and viewers.  For more information, please visit Patagonia.com
