Lole Evolt Tunic Review

Lole Evolt Tunic 186x300 Lole Evolt Tunic ReviewWhether worn leggings, jeans, running tights or with boots and knee socks, the drop waist and shawl collar of the Evolt tunic is fun and figure flattering. An Eclon nylon, polyester and elastane knit fabric (Lole calls it their Travel Knit) resists wrinkling, even when rolled and stuffed in a duffel bag, stretches where you need it and drapes nicely. Plus the zippered stash pocket holds a key, credit card or a few bucks. The Evolt is super soft and comfortable, but dresses up for an evening out, looks sharp for work and is an easy travel piece.

Added bonuses include wicking properties and a UPF of 50. Roll-up sleeves with a button tab help you keep your cool on warmer days, and when you do sweat, this tunic is easy to wash and wear. The Evolt is made with a busy schedule in mind, and can be washed at night, hung to dry and worn the next day. As an FYI, my evenings are rather short when I travel. After a quick hand-washing in the sink, my drying time was closer to 12 hours, but I was also in a humid climate. At home, I just throw it in the washer and dryer, although the tag suggests hanging to dry.

Whether going out to dinner, spending a day in meetings or flying cross-country, the Evolt Tunic served me well. $90 at www.lolewomen.com.

About the Author

Allison is a freelance gear, travel and fitness writer based in the mountains of Colorado. She played golf and field hockey while growing up, and discovered the simple joys of running while in college. Camping, hiking, hang-gliding (once was enough), scuba diving, skiing, kayaking, triathlons and mountaineering eventually worked their way into her life, along with the accompanying gear. Crazy but true, Allison really believes you can have too much gear and seeks out durable, multi-functional pieces that transition well from one activity to the next. Whether skiing in Colorado, kayaking in Florida, paddle-boarding off the coast of South Carolina or running through a Nevada desert, Allison puts gear through the paces to see if it truly belongs in her arsenal of favorites. Her work is featured in the Military Times newspapers, Women's Running magazine, Elevation Outdoors magazine, Runningtimes.com and iRunFar.com.
