Horny Toad El Camino Sweater Review

With sweater season getting into full swing as temperatures drop, it’s time to pull your sweater bin out of storage or head to the store to pick out the latest and greatest.  If you are in the second category, the Horny Toad El Camino Sweater should be on the list of sweaters to check out.  The El Camino sweater is made of 100% Merino Wool, which is great for temperature regulation and is super soft and warm.  I’ve been wearing this sweater around for the past month during casual and work functions and it fit well into both scenarios.  A couple of the issues I have with some sweaters is many sweaters tend to get itchy and when I’m indoors I often get super hot .  Itching with this sweater was non-existent and the Merino Wool seemed to do the trick for temperature regulation.  Although Merino Wool is great for temperature regulation and being itch free, I do see it stretching more than I would like it to at times.  In this case, you just have to be a little more careful. The price of the Horny Toad El Camino comes in at $115, so I would normally be a little more careful with a sweater at this price range.  It should be noted that $115 is somewhere right in the middle when it comes to Merino Wool sweaters.

The styling on the El Camino Sweater is nice.  With the seems on the outside of the sweater, this sweater shows a little bit more flair and style than your traditional sweater.  The fit of the sweater seemed to hang well on the upper body, I am 6’0 ft. and 175lbs, a size medium fit just right.  The neck on the El Camino was just right, not too wide and relaxed, yet it wasn’t too tight where all it does is itch your neck all day.  So if you’re in the market for sweaters and looking to compliment your outdoor lifestyle look, I highly recommend you take a look at the Horny Toad El Camino Sweater.  For more information, please visit HornyToad.com
