Vasque Breeze Low Review
The Breeze is a low cut supportive hiker from Vasque. The Breeze has a waterproof nubuck leather upper thanks to Gore Tex and wonderful ventilation due to Airmesh nylon fabric. Testers felt that this is a high volume shoe with a very roomy toe box and wider feel; best suited for individuals with wide feet or those seeking to use inserts, if that is not you, try sizing down a ½ size. The outsole incorporates Vibram Contact technology and provides a sturdy and grippy platform for sandy and wet rocks. Testers used this shoe in the desert and raved about its’ ability to keep the elements out, not only rain, but sand too. The Breeze does take some time to break in and is a little stiffer than other shoes tested; this stiffness is also a bonus because of added protection and motion control while hiking. Overall, a nice supportive hiker that is capable of long hauls. For more information, please visit Vasque.com.

I found that my foot is too wide and flat for the Vasque Breeze Low, which is built for hikers who do have arches. The Vasque Mantra, which is built with a last that fits wider, flatter feet, suits me better.
