Lightload Towels Review

Lightload towels are one of the best products we have come across this season.  They are perfect for hiking, cycling, traveling, camping, and any other activity you can think of.  We tested the hand towel sizes which fits in the palm of your hand while in the package which makes it perfect when space is of the necessity.  All you need to do to get the towel to regular size is unwrap it and place it in some water.  This allows the towel to expand and you just have to ring out the water and it’s ready to go. Per the manufacturers, the towels can hold up to 10x’s the water as a standard cotton towel.  We would agree with them, as we used the hand towels around the kitchen and they could dry dishes much longer than our standard dish towel.

The towels are pretty durable, so you can reuse these towels a number of times until you need a new one. They are also machine wash-able and have survived a few trips through our washer so far. As mentioned on the Lightload towels website, you can also cut the towel up to make your dollar go further.  The towels are available in the hand towel size, which we tested, as well as a 12×24 inch towel which would be great for backpacking, and a 60×30 inch beach towel that is ideal for an island hopping vacation!

For survival purposes, these towels are super handy.  Not only are the super small and take up practically no space, but they have multipurpose; they can be used as a handkerchief to keep sweat off your head, sun off your neck, it can be used as a fire starter, strainer, toilet paper, diaper, and the list goes on and on.  For only $6 for 3 of the hand towels, this is a super good deal.
