Bora Bora Bars Review

Finding bars without gluten that don’t taste chalky can be a difficult task but the Bora Bora bars are just that. With three different categories from: Energy, Super Food and Antioxidant, there are many flavors to keep you going, help you feel good inside and live longer.

Bora Bora Bars are all USDA certified organic with nothing artificial and are all-natural. The bars contain no refined sugar, are non-GMO and are vegan and kosher as well as free of gluten. They are low on the glycemic index as well.

We tested the bars on both the trail while hiking, as a mid day snack and even as an evening pick me up treat. They left us fueled up, satisfied sweet cravings and filled our bellies. The added protein and fiber to the bars is a nice addition. They tend to be a bit sticky so I wouldn’t recommend these on a ride or during any hard aerobic efforts.

Our favorite was the Island Brazil Nut Almond, which tastes just like an Almond Joy candy bar with all the health benefits and none of the junk. The bars are a perfect mix of chewy and crunchy. The Energy category of bars all contain nuts high in antioxidants and healthy fats.

Bora Bora Bars can be found in grocery and health food stores around the country. They retail for $1.99 a bar. Check out borabora.com for more information and a full list of bar flavors.
